About Us

Victor Zhang's compact Xinjiang noodle house on Elizabeth Street, directly across from Emporium. Zhang grew up in Urumqi and puts a personal spin on north-west Chinese cooking in a small, unassuming room with wooden tables and an open kitchen where diners can watch hand-pulled lamian, charcoal lamb skewers, da pan ji (big pan chicken) and dumplings come together. Scoop highlights arm-length noodles as the regional signature and a casual walk-in lunch-or-dinner pace. Order at the table via QR code (per Corner curators) or take away through Uber Eats, EASI and Panda; the official food gallery and delivery menus lead with signature noodles, lamb pilaf and big-pan chicken noodle or rice plates in the low-to-mid twenties.
