About Us
Vinh Ky is a long-running licensed BYO Chinese–Vietnamese restaurant on Richmond's Victoria Street strip, open daily from 10:30am until 10:30pm (Victoria Street Business Association directory; Google Maps hours June 2026). The Good Food Guide (14.5/20, updated October 2025) describes a casual room where most tables order the same two dishes: bouncy prawn wontons with chewy egg noodles in concentrated chicken broth ($17 at review time), and a half chicken poached in that broth, served off the bone with salty garlic oil for dipping. Staff adjust spring-roll counts to party size and give each diner a ramekin of house chilli oil. Corner (April 2026) and regulars also highlight shaken beef, special fried rice and late-night dumpling soups; weekend meal times can queue.
