Established in 1999 by the Iodice brothers inside a building with roots back to 1886 — first a boat shed, then an Italian-run café — The Vineyard is a long-running St Kilda institution on Acland Street. The kitchen serves Modern Australian cuisine including grazing plates, pasta, and steaks, operating seven days a week alongside a bar that stays open until 3am. The venue is also known for live music, DJ nights, and comedy events, cementing its reputation as one of the suburb's enduring neighbourhood originals.
