Open since 1988, Vegie Bar is one of Melbourne's longest-running all-vegan and vegetarian restaurants, occupying a large warehouse-style space on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy. The menu draws from cuisines around the world — Malaysian mee goreng and laksa sit alongside Italian pizza and lasagna, Japanese yaki udon, and Mexican burritos — all prepared with fresh, plant-based ingredients.
