About Us

Tippy-Tay is the Italian trattoria tucked inside Garden State Hotel on Flinders Lane — a Sand Hill Road venue that trades white tablecloths for a yellow-and-green archway, sun neon, DJ booth, and walls lined with more than 3,000 vintage glass bottles. Head chef Dylan Evans's Amalfi Coast–inspired menu leans shareable and theatrical: cacio e pepe arancini, house-made pastas including the crisp-edged Last Night's Lasagne, pork cotoletta, a 600g bistecca Fiorentina, and seafood such as snapper crudo and grilled king prawns. Press the wall-mounted doorbells and a Negroni fountain arrives tableside; desserts roll around on a retro airline trolley. Book via SevenRooms for lunch (midday–2:30pm) or dinner (from 5:30pm); weekend DJs keep the dinner-party energy going late. The dining room reopened in early June 2026 after a May renovation; trading hours are published on the official site.
