About Us
Named after tipo 00 flour, this Little Bourke Street pasta bar is the Conferre Group flagship from Andreas Papadakis (ex Vue de Monde), head chef Alberto Fava and Luke Skidmore — a 42-seat CBD room with marble bar tops, open kitchen energy and Italian wines heavy on Piedmont and Tuscany. House-made pasta drives the menu: squid-ink tagliolini, saffron spaghettini, tortelloni and gnocchi with porcini and braised duck, plus a few secondi, salumi snacks and dolci including the house Tipomisù. The official Chef's Menu and Premium Chef's Menu (starters, pasta and dolce; $100 / $125 per person on the site) suit groups of six or more; walk-ins are welcome at the bar and smaller tables with an estimated wait when full. Reservations open at midnight, 56 days ahead; sister venue Osteria Ilaria sits next door. Google Maps lists the business as operational (Jun 2026); Broadsheet Hot List copy updated Oct 2025 still describes it as at the top of its game.
