Family-run Ethiopian restaurant and live-music venue on Johnston Street since 2007, run by saxophonist Peter Harper and chef-singer Enushu Taye. The Horn pairs house-made 100% teff injera with berbere-based wot stews, tibs, vegetarian and vegan combos, banquets, and a full bar of Ethiopian and craft beers plus organic Sidamo coffee (traditional ceremony on request). The courtyard beer garden features a lion mural; Thu–Sun evenings bring resident jazz (Thu Blow with Bob Sedergreen, Fri 3,2,1) and Sunday Ethio-jazz/funk/hip hop with Black Jesus Experience from 7:30pm. Kitchen closes 9pm; group bookings and dietary requests welcomed. Retail jars of the venue's house berbere spice are sold on site.
