About Us
The Duke of Wellington is a heritage-listed Melbourne CBD pub on the Flinders and Russell Street corner opposite The Forum, with a liquor licence dating to 1853 and a Richard Dalton-designed building completed in 1850. Australian Venue Co operates the multi-level venue across a ground-floor public bar with sport on big screens and about 20 beers on tap, the upstairs Duke Dining Room, Arthur's cocktail bar on the first floor, and a rooftop bar with city views. Public-bar menu copy highlights the Duke roast beef roll, beer-battered rockling, classic cheeseburger and chicken parma; the dining room adds pan-fried gnocchi, zesty crab linguini and lamb pie among Australian and international wines and seasonal cocktails. Book via SevenRooms; walk-ins welcome in the public bar.
