About Us
Melbourne's first British–Indian pub and restaurant (opened July 2024) on Bourke Street's Paris end, themed on Maharaja Duleep Singh — last Maharaja of the Sikh Empire — who brought North Indian flavours to England after exile under Queen Victoria. The ~101-seat venue is bar-forward: big screens for live sport, a stage for weekend performers, outdoor seating and a drinks program spanning Kingfisher on tap, Black Prince cocktails and premium whisky. Chef Ajeet's menu fuses Anglo-Indian pub classics with Lahori and Punjabi cooking — chaat and bar snacks, tandoor grills, British butter chicken, Panjabi parmy, shepherd's pie with rarha keema, lahori goat biryani and naan tacos. Reservations by phone (0434 057 067) or WhatsApp (0413 634 301) via the official book-a-table page; EatClub dine-in offers common.
