TBBQ is a Brunswick Street smokehouse bringing Texas-style barbecue to Fitzroy, run by pitmaster Tao Ding. Meats are smoked on site over wood with a less-is-more dry-rub approach; the menu centres on halal Black Angus brisket and beef short rib, pulled pork, pork belly burnt ends, and house-made sauces, with signature sweet cornbread ground from whole corn kernels and served with strawberry basil jam-cream. The cosy dine-in room seats about 40–52 guests with custom timber tables and a steer mural.
