Tastes of Senegal is a Melbourne-based food truck and catering operation founded in 2008 by Aissatou Ba, serving traditional Senegalese dishes made from family recipes passed down through generations. The truck parks near the NGV on St Kilda Road Wednesday through Sunday, while the business also operates a pick-up kitchen in Werribee and caters private events, corporate lunches, and festivals across Victoria. Every dish — from Thieboudienne (Senegal's national jollof rice with fish) to charcoal-grilled Dibi meats — is Halal certified, with vegan options across all packages. The operation gained national recognition in 2018 via an SBS Food's Food Safari feature.
