About San Telmo

The San Telmo Group's founding Argentine parrilla on Meyers Place — a bohemian laneway room of antique Buenos Aires doors, cow hides and leather booths built around an imported 2.5-metre Pirincho charcoal grill. Co-owners Dave and Mickey Parker with Jason and Renee McConnell serve a share-style asado menu of empanadas, O'Connor pasture-fed parrilla cuts, South American ceviche and dulce de leche desserts, with a 100%-Argentinian wine list and a ten-metre bar for malbec and empanada snacks. Head chef Dylan Perry leads the kitchen; two-hour sittings via SevenRooms, limited walk-in bar and outdoor seats, and set menus for parties of eight or more. Open seven days for lunch and dinner from midday (official site hours Jun 2026; Google Places business_status OPERATIONAL).
