About Russian Tidbits

Long-running family deli on Koornang Road trading for more than 20 years — a Carnegie institution for house-made Eastern European smallgoods, imported pantry staples, and traditional cakes rather than sit-down dining. The chilled cabinet stacks at least ten on-site salamis and sausages (Good Food highlights gypsy sausage); freezers hold pelmeni and potato-, mushroom-, or cheese-filled vareniki; shelves carry pickled cabbage, mushrooms, and even watermelon, sour-cherry teas, and imported confectionery. Time Out and Good Food describe it as much a cultural experience as a grocer — expect conversational service and fantastic smallgoods, not a quick café counter.
