About Reine & Larue

Reine & La Rue occupies The Cathedral Room of Melbourne's former stock exchange on Collins Street — a heritage-listed space beneath the gothic stone arches of the ANZ banking chamber. The kitchen turns out classical French cooking anchored in premium Victorian produce: whole wagyu dry-aged ribeyes carved tableside, pomme purée enriched with bone marrow, caviar service on buckwheat waffles, and seafood preparations from the raw bar. A compact eight-seat wine bar called La Rue operates alongside, accepting walk-ins and pouring a global list by the glass. Awarded the Age Good Food Guide New Restaurant of the Year 2024 and Two Hats 2025/26.
