About Patris

Patris is a small neighbourhood restaurant in Brunswick cooking Eastern Mediterranean food in the tradition it was inherited — simple, fresh, and designed for sharing. The kitchen uses olive oil pressed near the Evrótas River in the Peloponnese, and the menu draws equally from Greek and Cypriot culinary roots: housemade flatbread topped with tomato and onion, grilled haloúmi with commandaría poached figs, lamb keftédes Cypriot style, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, and whole charcoal-grilled fish. A Sunday brunch and weeknight dinner service round out a compact weekly programme.
