Family-run Chinese noodle and dumpling shop in Preston Chambers Arcade, between Preston Market and High Street near the station. Owner Bill Feng opened in 2011; the name plays on yi mian (one noodle) and the shared Chinese word mian for “face” and “noodle”—fleeting “one-face” friendships over a communal bowl (Broadsheet). Hand-pulled wheat noodles and dumplings are made fresh daily in a compact, no-frills counter-service room with flour sacks and dumpling fridges on display—no reservations, soft drinks only (no alcohol or BYO). Pick-up and Kravein delivery; frozen dumplings (25 or 50) sold to take home. Google Maps lists the venue as operational with Mon–Sat 10am–9pm trading (June 2026).
