About Us

Family-run BYO Cambodian restaurant on Springvale’s Buckingham Avenue Khmer Town row beside Tasty Cambodian and Lemongrass — one of only three traditional Cambodian restaurants in Melbourne (3AW). Karl Lim’s family opened Springvale’s first Cambodian venue as The Purple Orchid before expanding and rebranding as My Cambodia in 2010; head chef Say Keav Liv still cooks a laminated 100-plus-dish menu of bold Khmer soups, lok lak, prahok dips, samlor korko, and border-region Thai and Vietnamese plates in a compact, no-frills dining room where regulars share tables at peak. Time Out calls it Khmer Town’s unofficial capital; chef Jerry Mai’s family treats it as their benchmark for samlor korko. Google Maps and OpenStreetMap (June 2026) place the venue at 28 Buckingham Avenue with business_status OPERATIONAL; Waze and Restaurant Guru list active trading hours with no permanent-closure badge. No dedicated restaurant domain or official Instagram profile found on attempt 0 — Fantuan and Uber Eats handle delivery and takeaway.
