Mr Huang Jin is a compact Taiwanese dumpling restaurant tucked inside The Archway on Katherine Place in Melbourne's CBD. The kitchen hand-makes all dumplings daily, including multiple styles of xiao long bao and pan-fried varieties. The menu spans steamed and pan-fried dumplings, stir-fried noodles, Taiwanese tapas (including Taiwanese fried chicken and twice-cooked pork spare ribs), fried rice, and mains such as mapo tofu and kong po chicken. Desserts include an Emperor's Pancake filled with sweet red beans.
