About Misoya Sake Bar

Cosy Sydney Road ramen-and-sake bar opened by owner Fujio Tamura in 2015 (~20 seats up front, courtyard out back). House miso ramen uses an eight-hour chicken-and-vegetable broth—not tonkotsu—with custom springy egg noodles, sweet pork belly, and jammy egg; the Misoya Special adds extra miso depth. Vegan miso potage and gluten-free rice-noodle bowls are on the menu. Snacks span gyoza, yuzu-marinated karaage, tempura, and izakaya bites; a curated sake list includes five-cup tasting flights. Exposed brick, a long communal table, and courtyard seating suit casual bowls or sake-led evenings.
