About Us

Koichi Minamishima’s intimate Richmond omakase house — about forty seats on quiet Lord Street — serves Edomae-style nigiri and seasonal Japanese courses with no à la carte. Counter guests (one or two) take 6pm or 8:30pm seatings nightly at the sushi bar; groups of three or more dine in the low-lit dining room, and three private rooms seat up to eight behind sliding doors, with optional in-room sushi chefs led by Yoshiki Tano. Randolph Cheung’s sake pairings accompany the single chef-led omakase menu ($325 per person, June 2026). Reservations are essential and open at midday on the first day of each month by phone or the site’s online widget; booking lines run 12pm–5pm Tuesday to Saturday.
