About Mansae Korean BBQ

Mansae CBD is a walk-in-first Korean barbecue restaurant in the Veriu Hotel precinct beside Queen Victoria Market — owners Shelly Leonardy and Hando Mulyando relocated from A'Beckett Street in 2024 to cut queues while expanding to roughly 150 seats. Staff grill Australian wagyu from suppliers including Mayura and Sher Wagyu, plus free-range pork, on built-in tabletop charcoal grills with overhead exhausts so clothes stay smoke-free. The room mixes neon signage, polished concrete and leather booths with complimentary banchan refills, soju and cocktails. Good Food Guide and Broadsheet highlight the Happiness Set wagyu entry, yukhoe, mul-naengmyeon and tableside torched marshmallow ice cream.
