Loku is a Sri Lankan restaurant on High Street in Northcote, helmed by owner and head chef Lanka Imiyaarachchige. The menu reflects her Tamil-Sinhalese heritage through traditional dishes such as lamprais, pot biryani, roast paan with turmeric butter, and a rotating selection of twelve curries, alongside original creations including a betel leaf "taco" inspired by an uncooked Sinhalese curry. The 38-seat venue serves dinner Tuesday through Saturday with Saturday lunch, and offers Yarra Valley wines, whisky, and Sri Lankan soft drinks.
