About Laksa King

Laksa King is a Flemington institution founded by Esmond Wong in 1998, moving from a Racecourse Road arcade to its Pin Oak Crescent dining room in 2010. The fast-turnover room is built around house-famous curry laksa — a coconut broth blending Chinese and Malaysian styles — with a broad Malaysian-Chinese menu spanning roti canai, char kway teow, nasi goreng, satay and seafood plates. Expect queues at peak times, swift counter-to-table service, shareable plates and phone bookings for larger groups; pickup ordering is available online. Sister sites operate in Glen Waverley and Southland — this row is the original Flemington flagship only.
