About Us
Kinyoubi Izakaya is a compact, one-chef Japanese izakaya on Smith Street in Fitzroy, open since 2016. The kitchen specialises in fresh sushi and sashimi — recognised as the best in Fitzroy from 2022 to 2025 — alongside tapas-style small plates, teishoku set meals, sukiyaki, tonkatsu, and gyoza.
