Kajiken is the Australian outpost of Japan's renowned abura soba chain, originating from Nagoya. The Elizabeth Street location serves brothless noodle bowls — where housemade wavy noodles are tossed through a proprietary umami-rich sauce and loaded with toppings ranging from pork chashu and roast beef to unagi eel and softshell crab. Alongside its signature aburasoba, the menu extends to donburi rice bowls, pan-fried gyoza, karaage chicken, and takoyaki.
