ISH is a modern Indian dinner restaurant on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy, open since 2018. The kitchen draws on regional Indian cooking traditions — tandoor, Punjabi gravies, Malabar coastal seafood — and filters them through contemporary Australian technique and presentation. The result is a shareable, multi-course format: street-food canapés give way to medium plates and substantial mains, with wine pairing menus and set feasting options rounding out the experience.
