About Homm

Homm's original Melbourne CBD shop at 294 La Trobe Street — the brand's first store (opened February 2023) before expansions to Melbourne Central, QV, Chadstone, Sunshine, and interstate. A Thai-inspired dessert and brunch cafe where Homm (pleasant scent; to gather) framed shareable bingsu, brûlée toasted shokupan, pain perdu katsu, and Thailand's-classics toast with house dips; ingredients were made from scratch without food colouring or preservatives (official site). What's On Melbourne lists Closed all week for this address (Jun 2026); Melbourne Insider and Wanderlog QV customer reviews from late 2025–Jan 2026 report the La Trobe flagship has closed and trade moved to QV/Melbourne Central — treat this slug as the permanently closed flagship, not Melbourne Central (GD071) or QV (Red Cape Lane). No public store phone — see phoneNotes; brand contact is team@hommdesserts.com.au or @homm_dessert_au.

From diners

  • I love desserts, so at this Thai dessert café I went straight for the stars: the Thai Tea Avalanche bingsu and the Mango Sticky Rice bingsu, two Thai-inspired shaved ice creations that totally hit the spot.
