Haiku is a Japanese-infused cafe and izakaya on Toorak Road in Camberwell (formerly Hibiki). Owner Reiji Honour draws on family recipes for brunch staples such as okonomiyaki and teishoku; Thursday to Saturday nights the venue relaunches as Haiku Kuro, a dimly lit izakaya and cocktail bar with karaage, kingfish and charcoal-grilled small plates.
