Freddie Wimpole's is a late-night craft beer and cocktail bar on Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, named after Frederick Wimpole, a former mayor of St Kilda and one-time owner of the historic George Hotel. The venue pours 14 rotating taps of craft beer alongside a cocktail list, with live music running four nights a week and a regular calendar of events including weekly trivia and happy hour. Food is secondary and American bar-style: Southern fried chicken by the bucket, hot dogs, wings, and Philly cheesesteak. Open until 3am on weekends, it is part of the Ganley Group.
