Frasta is a Melbourne food truck and market stall run by an Italian chef from Verona, serving deep-fried pasta blocks — a concept the operator bills as Australia's first. Each square, breadcrumbed parcel is filled with a classic pasta preparation (spaghetti carbonara, lasagne bolognese, mushroom lasagne) then fried to a golden crust and finished with sauce and grated cheese. The trailer operates from a fixed pitch at 5 Magdalen St Pascoe Vale South and appears at Melbourne night markets.
