About El Chivi
El Chivi is Melbourne's first and only Uruguayan chivito food truck, established in 2015 and based at the Bikes and Bites hangout at Cuztom Kraft in Bayswater North. The menu centres on the chivito — Uruguay's unofficial national dish — made with tender scotch fillet steak layered with cheese, house sauce, and fresh toppings in a toasted artisan bun. El Chivi also offers catering for weddings, festivals, corporate events, and private functions across Melbourne.
From diners
I ordered the "El Chivi" chivito, that sliced beefsteak sandwich, and it was so tasty it left me craving more. Perhaps I should have gotten the "El Presidente" chivito.
