About Us
Cha Ching is a neon-lit Asian-fusion restaurant on Flinders Lane, opened in October 2022 by owner and head chef Ken Leung. The menu crosses Japanese, Thai, Korean and Chinese techniques with Melbourne multiculturalism—street food with finesse, shared plates, weekend yum cha, and bottomless lunch packages. Signature Roasted Duck Thai Coconut Red Curry appears on nearly every docket; other standouts include beef tartare with black truffle, Hokkaido scallops in miso butter broth, and salmon sashimi with green nam jim. Sean McMahon curates the cocktail list; the We Are Humble-designed interior features LED neon and high bar seating.
