About Burmese House

Burmese House is a long-standing Burmese restaurant on Bridge Road in Richmond, operating since 1998. Under new ownership since late 2025, the kitchen is led by a team of Mizo and Chin-Burmese cooks preparing traditional Myanmar dishes including fermented tea-leaf salad, fish noodle soup (moh hin gha), and curries shaped by Chinese, Indian and Thai influences inherent to Burmese cuisine. The venue features an open kitchen, exposed brick walls lined with historical clippings, and a mezzanine dining area.
