Blue Chillies has occupied a corner of Brunswick Street in Fitzroy since 1999, drawing on hawker-style cooking traditions from Kuala Lumpur and Penang and reworking them with Melbourne flair. The kitchen combines imported Malaysian spices with fresh local produce, producing a menu of shared dishes where balance of texture, flavour, and presentation is the guiding principle. Seating spans two levels, including a private function space for up to 40 guests. The venue is fully licensed and does not accept BYO.
