Colombian arepa café and production kitchen on a side street off Preston's High Street, opened in 2018 by Santiago Villamizar and Carolina Talero (also behind Sonido in Fitzroy). The Arepa Lab behind a glass partition mills Australian white corn into gluten-free arepas grilled to order, with topped arepas, empanadas, tropical juices, Wood & Co coffee and Colombian hot chocolate in a bright yellow-and-aqua breakfast-lunch dining room.
