About Us
Compact izakaya-style Japanese restaurant on Heidelberg Road in Ivanhoe, run by owner-chef Yasuhiro Kanamoto (Yasu), trained as an itamae in Kyoto and Osaka. The room leans into sake-no-sakana hospitality — a complimentary otsumami with your first drink — over sashimi, donburi, karaage, tempura, gyoza and Japanese curries. Dine-in hours run Monday–Wednesday dinner only, Thursday–Friday lunch and dinner, and Saturday dinner (book by phone; compact room).
