About Abla's

Melbourne Lebanese institution since 1979, founded by Abla Amad and widely called the queen of Lebanese cooking. Homemade mezze, kibbee, stuffed vegetables and her signature chicken-and-rice pilaf in a cosy, white-tablecloth dining room on Carlton's Elgin Street. Warm, family-style hospitality; BYO wine Thursdays only ($15 corkage). Upstairs space available for private groups of 10–40.
