About Us
Melbourne's original A1 since 1992 — a family-run Lebanese bakery, cafe and Middle Eastern grocer on Sydney Road. Founded by Elias Farah and Chafic Choueiri with their wives Nadia and Noha, the Brunswick flagship bakes khobz, manoush and Lebanese pizzas in-house while counters turn out tawouk wraps, shanklish pies and falafel platters to steady queues of students and locals. Cash-friendly dine-in with outdoor seating; shelves stock sumac, pomegranate molasses and imported pantry staples. Part of the independent A1 group (Fitzroy, Highpoint, RMIT pop-up, catering and food truck).
